About Here On Assignment?
We find ourselves “On Assignment”, as we discover and carry out our assignment. We become heralds and reporters of a sort. It is what we do with the few things we discover that defines our assignment. Some assignments are from God and some assignments are from things other than God. My assignment is to carry out the duties of an Agent of God. It involves views on truth and reality, morality, spirituality, and well-being. There will be Philosophy and Theology involved; sprinkled with arts and sciences; a dash of humanities. Whatever God reveals to this Agent of God is what this blog is about.
My name is Bob LeVene and I am the editor and sometimes author of this page. I may provide commentary. I may provide others’ commentaries. I may provide education. Whatever is provided, I hope it is at a minimum interesting and maybe even entertaining. Whatever is provided, I pray it help define your assignment from God, and I pray it is done in accordance with my assignment from God. He is an on-going student at the School of Life where he majors in Hard Knocks with minors in Addiction Recovery, Joy and Laughter, People Watching, and Other Assorted Passions. In addition, he holds a Master of Arts Degree in Theological Studies from Liberty University School of Divinity and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Religion with a minor in Biblical Counseling from Liberty University.
